A few days ago, a grand exhibition titled "the Great Revolution" - Celebrating the 40th Anniversary of China's Reform and Opening-up” kicked off at the National Museum. CASIC organized all departments of the headquarters and various organizations in Beijing to pay a visit to the exhibition on the morning of November 15 and the morning of November 25, respectively. The total number of visitors was about 800.
The theme of the exhibition was “adhering to and developing socialism with Chinese characteristics”. Six themed exhibition areas were designed for the exhibition to demonstrate the glorious course of reform and opening-up, great achievements, and valuable experience in multi-angle and panoramic manners through various means and elements such as historical pictures, text, videos, physical scenes, sand table models and interactive experiences.
There were a lot of "aerospace elements" at the exhibition. In the "Amazing China" exhibition area, the exhibition hall for booming Chinese enterprises exhibited the development achievements since the reform and opening-up of the central enterprises, especially since the 18th CPC National Congress. The CASICloud platform created by CASIC was exhibited in this exhibition area and has aroused wide attention. In the national defense science and technology exhibition hall of the “Glorious Success” exhibition area, the majestic missile model stood for the most sophisticated weapon in China, and attracted a lot of visitors.
The cadres and employees of CASIC were deeply touched by the wonderful exhibitions. They agreed that the sensational and great changes have taken place in China since the reform and opening-up 40 years ago, proving that the reform and opening-up guidelines and policies determined by the CPC Central Committee are correct. Therefore, we must unswervingly stick to comprehensively deepening reform, expand the opening-up, unite the thought, build consensus, inspire the fighting spirit, make concerted efforts, adhere to the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and enhance confidence and determination for reform and opening-up.
Xin Peihua, an employee of No.2 Department of the 2nd Academy said after the visit that "a half-day visit allows us to feel the beauty of the mountains and rivers of the great motherland, the beauty of construction, the beauty of life, the beauty of striving and the beauty of the times, and the flourishing, development and growth of the great motherland in the 40 years of reform and opening-up. As the builders and participants of the national defense cause, we are willing to devote our lifetimes to the prosperity and strength of China.”
When seeing the exhibited aerospace technologies and products, Xu Yang, an employee of No. 31 Institute of the 3rd Academy felt proud of being an aerospace technician. He said that "every aerospace achievement embodies the efforts of generations of aerospace technicians for self-dependence and constant struggles, and their great ambitions for winning glory for the motherland, striving spirit and selfless contributions bring us great achievements in the history of aerospace industry in China. I am proud of being an aerospace technician.”
The wonderful exhibitions made Yuan Chao, a young employee of the Fourth Academy, feel inspired. He said that "as an aerospace technician in the new era, I admire my senior colleagues for a lot of scientific and technological achievements accomplished by them. At the same time, I will work hard and be innovative to make contribution to China's future aerospace and national defense causes.”
In addition, relevant organizations in Beijing such as Aerospace System Corporation, China Aerospace Construction Group, Aisino Corporation, Aerospace Automotive Corporation, Asset Management Corporation, Training Center and Service Center also organized cadres and employees to visit the exhibition.
